Notes from author
I've made a lot of builds on this website, but now I am starting to actually post them, so this'll be the first one with an account. woot. I like to limit myself making builds, otherwise everything eventually turns into GiantDad, which, though fun, is not refreshing. With that in mind, here were my rules for this build:
Must have Washing Pole, because it looks cool.
Must have Ornstein's Armor, also cool.
Must have fast roll.
Even-numbered stats because fuck odds.
There are a couple similar builds to this one out there from some of my anonymous submissions, but this one is my favorite. Here are some of the perks:
No Havel's Ring. It is so often the case that in min/max builds, Havel is sort of a lynch-pin for the gear. Without it, you're a hot sloppy mess fumbling around in whatever garbage you put on for the poise. None of that here. This leaves you an open slot to do, well, whatever with. Most of the time, I prefer Wolf for the poise, but you can throw in some Cloranthy goodness or whatever you need for utility.
Two attunement slots. Pyro that shit. Pyro hard. Great Fireball for a (somewhat) ranged attack and some sweet staggering power. x2, NG+ bithces. (See what I did there?)
With Wolf, you get 77 poise, which is enough to take at least one of any hit that isn't Great Fireball. Even if you let that noobass Chaoshander get up in your grill, you can save your face and roll right the fuck out of there.
Mask of the Mother. I originally had this build with a naked head so my fellow Sunbros could see my pretty mug, but dammit if that extra HP doesn't mean something with 50 VIT. 1800 HP to 1980 HP is a yes, please.
Grass Crest Shield. Because why not have more stamina, amirite? Swap it out for other 3-pound-or-less shields when needed. Talkin' Bloodshield, Spider Shield, etc...
310 defense. 360 with Steel Stoneplate.
The hands and feet match.
Max stamina. Fast roll. (Of course).
Here's hoping you love it as much as I do.
