Notes from author
The inspiration on this build came from the channel: "MrIwont4get". I was watching his bow cleric build and wanted try something like it. My "little" twist is Grant.
Stats:
-----------------
VIT:35
ATT:14
END:60
STR:34
DEX:20
FTH:30
As you can see, this is very endurance-heavy. This is so you can fast roll with Grant in addition to being able to 2-hand it.
-----------------
Armor:
-----------------
Head: Giant Helm
Chest: Witch Cloak
Hands: Iron Bracelet
Legs: Wanderer Boots
This armor setup will provide you with 21 poise, enough to take a single hit from a 1-handed Katana, Straight Sword, Curved Sword, Halberd, Spear, Fist Weapon, and Whip class attack.
You're going to need some skill and dodging finesse to stay safe.
Also, that Witch Cloak looks so nice!
-----------------
Rings:
-----------------
Slot 1:Havel's Ring
Slot 2:Ring of Favor and Protection
These rings are a necessity if you want to use Grant. Otherwise, Havel's ring provides 24.0 extra weight if not using Grant.
No Havel Ring & no Grant provides 9.0 extra weight.
-----------------
Spells:
-----------------
You have 3 slots to spare with 30 FTH, so you have access to all the important faith-based spells in the game. The ones I use are:
Wrath of the Gods (For really tight situations)
Emit Force
Gravelord Greatsword Dance (I love this thing)
Of course, you can choose whatever you feel comfortable with. If not using Grant, buffs are perfectly viable options.
-----------------
Weapons:
-----------------
Occult Composite Bow
w/ Moonlight Arrows and Poison Arrows
*This is going to be your bait for a parry and 2-hand riposte with Grant, as well as a main method of attacking
Grant
*This is going to be the surprise factor in the build. With the massive damage and the heavy stamina consuming hits, it is going to surprise.
-----------------
This build is going to require some risk vs. reward skills.
If you use this build, I hope you enjoy it.
