A really fun pvp oriented build, but with the focus on being invaded, instead of invading, mainly because RoF is much less effective while you're a phantom. The armor is almost completely chosen for looks, as dark colored armor makes you blend in better with RoF, and it fits the theme of reaper. It does end up with passable stats and nice resistances, but not the sort of stats you'd expect from a midroll build. Main strategy I use with this build is hit and run. I wait to be invaded, either from Eyes of Death or being in Darkroot Garden, then I start hunting. If you're smart and cautious, this build can play havoc on an unwary invader, as the dark armor and RoF make you nearly invisible when standing against cover or in low light, preferable both. This can lead to easy BS's or a point blank Bead shot on someone looking for you, after which you can finish them off or find another hiding spot. As another bonus, RoF severely reduces the lock-on distance, meaning that you can break a lock-on really easily by just moving backwards. Also makes things difficult for casters and archers, as it stops them from locking onto you at range (But almost everyone else plays unlocked anyway) and lowers the effectiveness of Homing Soulmass and Pursuers. Great Magic Weapon helps to boost attack power when you're eventually found, or when you get bored. That coupled with the bleeding of the scythe can turn a heavy armor tank into mincemeat once you start hitting them with the one handed weak attack, unless they have massive resistances. And the invisible Dark Hand shield is great for baiting parries, even with the substandard physical resist and non-existent stability. You can also swap in Velka's Talisman and Gravelord Greatsword Dance for aoe clearing, or a pyro flame so you can use Black Flame to punish turtles. Really though, its main purpose is to have fun, while still providing very competitive PvP matches. I'm sure it could be improved though, but not quite sure how.
