I haven't played Dark Souls enough to know exactly how I should build my character for my strengths and weaknesses, but this is my (hoped) end game build that can be used for PvP.
Description: Salem's Knight Build is my first "official" Dark Souls build, and uses a Rapier +15 as the main weapon, as this class is based around the use of this weapon. The use of Havels Ring to increase equip load is simply to keep fast movement, in place of slow, or mid speed. Leo's ring is used to deal stronger damage when on the defensive, but can be swapped out for another ring of your choice. The Elite Knight Armor is chosen for aesthetic purpose, rather then defensive. Pyromancy is an optional piece to this build, but is used to keep enemies at bay, in PvE. Heal is a personal substitute for Estus Flasks, when they run dry. I, personally, always (unless PvPing) carry 5 banked Humanity, in case I see a campfire I have not yet lit.
Expected Questions:
"Why'd you name the Build ' Salem's Knight Build' if you're name is Coma"?
I named the Build after my Roleplaying name that I started using on July 27th, 2014. Salem was brought to life through my First Playthrough of Skyrim (Which started on June 5th, 2014), and has lived through six different Roleplays, since then.
"Why do you use the Rapier, over the Estoc?"
I use the Rapier over the Estoc because I find that, in my personal experience, the Estoc is MUCH slower. even just a frame of difference is life or death, in PVP, as you all know.
"Are you a tryhard, or a Casual Dark Souls Player?"
I play Dark Souls for fun, so I try not to tryhard, but when I get too "into my character", It becomes my best interest to stay alive. I guess you could say both.
"Why use a shield in Casual Gameplay?"
Because, as a newbie, it seems impractical. Maybe I'll drop the shield when I'm more experienced.
