Ive never tried a "ninja" build before and i havnt used katanas since i first started dks.
I know the armor setup may not be a ninja sort but i wanted to flip, use the cool wanderers cloak, have no gloves (which i think will look good on a ninja), have 56 poise or over by a little, have no helm or hood(male with black semi-long hair) and make the build look sort of fashion souls. If all these conditions are met i think he would look pretty cool.
