Swing the Chaos Blade, block with the Buckler, or simply take a hit. No matter what you do, eventually you'll get there. And when you do, you have a choice, Run away and fire your Black Bow of Pharis, walk up and start mashing the RB/R1 button, or be a beast and parry their swing, following it up with a ripost with the beautiful Dark Silver Tracer. Side notes: If you wish you can trade the armour for something else. I just like to have at least 35 poise so I can get an easy Katana parry (take the first hit and parry the second. If you don't know how search up "jblackmel parrying instructions 102") If you're not a fashion souls player you can bump up the Endurance and take down the Vitality a little so you can slip on the Mask of the Mother, effectively boosting your HP and how much spare HP you have when you enter Red Tearstone range.
