I wanted to make a build based off Nashandra, the final boss (and reincarnation of Manus) of Dark Souls 2. To keep in with her flavor I wanted her to use a Scythe, wear most of the Antiquated Set, and use Dark Sorceries.
The Lifehunt Scythe can hurt a lot more than the norman Great Scythe (especially once Power Within is on) and the Bloodshield+Bloodbite Ring combo, along with high Endurance to help her move quickly around, pretty much ignores any bleed build up from the Scythe (there's always moss/remedy if you feel like you need it).
Demon's Catalyst does more damage with Dark Sorcery than all other ones bar Manus's, who halves spell usage (which is inconvenient here). Adding in the Dark Sun Crown (don't want to risk the Crown of Dusk, the Scythe/Power Within are enough drawbacks for one build) and the Bellowing Dragoncrest Ring can make them that much deadlier.
A build that works effectively in PvP as long as you can use the Scythe effeciently. Works well in PvE too, on the odd case that some enemies/bosses aren't bleedable and that it might be usefule to have a spare Great Scythe if you want.
