Zanxes was born to a family of farmers in the Fivefinger Delta and enlisted in the local militia. Though he received advanced military training, the Delta never saw as much action as neighboring lands. Seeking to gain more battle prowess he became undead and travelled to Lordran and picked up many of tricks along the way.
