Notes from author
Weapons:
- Partizan, or any other Spear with same/lower weight you prefer. Vikings historically used spears (throwing and thrusting them)
- Broadsword, or any other straightsword you like with less than 4.0 weight and a "plain" look, to keep in role.
- Battle Axe. Unfortunately, there are no good AND realistic looking axes in Dark Souls. The Battle Axe is the one that comes closest to the look of the actual axes Vikings used. You could jsut leave the Axe out, if so, you can stop levelling END at 48, since your sword only weighs 3.0
- Longbow. Vikings did use bows, so why not use one yourself?
Note: Since you have 3 mainhand weapons, you need to decide waht to swap. A possible setup would be Broadsword + swaping Partizan and Battel Axe .. this way, you would only need 48 END for fastroll. I personally choose to swap Axe and Sword, because of the fact that you get a greater diversity all the time for your moveset than when you have an Axe and a sword on your slots. Choose wisely.
Shield: I choose the Red&White Shield for obvious aesthetic reasons ... Other options would be Sunlight Shield or Iron Round Shield, but since Vikings used round wooden shields, Red&White is the right one for me.
Spells: Power Within..... I see this as a kind of "viking rage" mode ... so its totally staying in role for a viking cosplay .. *cough*
Armor: All Armor is chosen for looks, but to give you a bit freedom, here some choices:
Helmet: Royal Helm or Hollow Warrior Helm
Chest: Hollow Warrior Armor ... I couldn't find anything else that suited the Viking-look I was going for.
Hands: Tattered Cloth, Brigand or Iron Bracelet. You might need more END if you switch to the heavier ones.
Legs: Eastern Leggins or Heavy Boots.
Rings: FAP Ring for obvious reasons. Wolf Ring if you want Poise, if not, swap out. Leo Ring might be good with Partizan, Calamity might be useful, if you dont have Power Within left, you can also go for a RTSR.
Done :) Enjoy :)
