The Knight of Cinder was the most powerful knight under Gwyn's command. It was he who led the siege on the Bed of Chaos and is said to have carved a mighty axe from the bones of the Taurus Demons slain in battle. This knight now wanders the land after going insane from the onslaught of the demon hordes. It is said that he now hunts down other knights, pillaging powerful weapons and artifacts from their corpses. This would explain the disappearance of Havel, Artorias, and the murderous Lautrec. Very recently, the bodies of presumed victims have been scorched and then beaten to a pulp by magic foreign to this land.
