Grant is a powerful weapon, and while it can't be buffed, it's two-handed attacks are more than enough to deal with most bosses, and smaller enemies. I'd recommend keeping a smaller weapon, such as a Mace, or Longsword, around for areas where you don't have adequate room to swing Grant.
Great Lightning Spear is in there more as a "Oh crap, I need more damage than my bow can do", ranged attack.
Wrath of the Gods is self explanatory, it's the most reliable AoE that Faith builds have.
The Silver Knight Shield is an amazing medium shield, with high stability, and good resistances. It's weight is a bit high, but, nothing is perfect.
The Paladin set has moderate poise, amazing physical defense, and decent elemental defense. That's the reason for that choice, good, eh?
Ring of the Sun's First Born increases all Miracles by 20%, which is great for your offensive, and healing spells.
Replenishment is the main boss point of this build, if you cast it, with your moderate hitpoints, and high defense, you should be able to stand in a bosses face, and win going toe to toe with it.
