I usually end up using an Uchigatana or Chaos Blade and then doing a lot of PvP, but i think that this is pretty decent for some PvE since the Claymore is pretty quick and does a decent amount of damage, especially when buffed with Great Magic Weapon + Oolacile Ivory Catalyst to keep INT at it's bare minimum and still be able to get a big damage bonus. Also, screw shields. When two-handing the claymore you don't need more than 27STR and 40DEX to be able to do a lot of damage.
