~build description~
Unlike your average hunter, this Darkwraith wields an axe instead of a dagger and a crossbow instead of a bow. Preferring precise cuts to critical attacks, his/her Chaos Hand Axe employs a flurry of quick slashes in tandem with powerful pyromancy, though still is fond of parrying. S/he places a heavy emphasis on stealth to use Fire Tempest effectively. Unusually, Fire Surge is opted for over Great Combustion, as it is often better suited for the players s/he will face. A Light Crossbow is used in place of a Short Bow and the player will need good aim and use of the binoculars to take advantage of this part of the build. This Darkwraith is not only an effective twink of a build but a test to the player's skill. His/her Hand Axe is very strong and the armor chosen very suitable, but one mistake and a play could very quickly lose all their HP.
~notes~
It is a good idea to carry a Lightning Hand Axe as well. Hawk Ring can be replaced with Dark Moon Seance Ring so that Power Within can be used - replace lightning bolts with sniper bolts. If invaded, replace Slumbering Dragoncrest Ring with Ring of Fog.
This is one variant of this build. A more traditional variant replaces the crossbow with a dagger, Fire Tempest with Great Combustion, Sorcerer Hat with the Gold Hemmed Black Hood, has a Caduceus or Red and White Round shield and utilizes the Wolf Ring and the Bellowing Dragoncrest Ring, for play in the Undead Parish.
A more erratic variant is the same but with one of the masks/whatever shield works best for the weight at that point and utilizes the Dark Wood Grain Ring along with either the Cloranthy, Hornet, Steel Protection or very rarely the the Dusk Crown Ring, for play in the Undead Burg with or without a Red Soapstone.

This is by no means anywhere near the greatest SL1 Darkwraith. It came into existence as I wanted a competent build that could be legitimately SL1 without cheat engine.
