Very tanky build with loads of poise, greatshield has the highest stability in the game and GMB for magic users.
Leo works with morning star for exceptional damage with bleed and the crossbow is for a bit of range.
With 40 faith there is loads of room to change spells, since we aren't enchanting the star you may as well use SLB.
The greatshield is really heavy so there are loads of shields you can swap out to and still mid roll
