Great for slow walking. Try using gestures to indicate that you're coming for their soul, that no matter how far they run, they cannot escape their fate.
First, drain them of their humanity. I'd recommend feeding 80 humanity to the covenant first, to get your dark hand to drain 10 at a time.
In the inevitable panic fight, parry them, and riposte with your dark hand's hornet ring animation, which looks epic.
Maybe use a robe, and wear a scythe, though you cannot strike with it.
If you come upon a not-noob or honest low-level, and your intimidation doesn't work, you can switch to your club, and beat the shit outta them.
If they're a hacker, fight near a cliff, and try to make them bleed.
Use your spells when you feel it's right. The fogs can act like a smokescreen, so keep that in mind.
You'll end up with 99 humanity quickly, so use it to level your covenant, kindle every bonfire you come across, etc.
You cannot wield the darksword, so keep that in mind as well.
Go forth, child of the dark, and become the Dark Lord.
