Notes from author
First: Invade. You're low enough level that you can invade pretty much anywhere within reason. I'd recommend a place like Sen's Fortress or Anor Londo,a place where you can hide reasonably.
Second: Hide. Find somewhere along the path your host might take, someplace you can cast chameleon in peace, someplace your prop might belong. Someplace with enough room.
Third: Wait. Yeah, you might have to wait a long or short time, so be prepared. Maybe put on a music album that you can really listen to, maybe try to memorize the lyrics, but do something that will let you either see the screen, or listen very carefully for sounds. I like to deduce what the host might be doing, how many phantoms he has, what equipment they have, etc.
Fourth: Surprise! 2H R2 that DKGA when they get close enough! If they're blocking, make sure that you either face away from them, or make your axe hit the shield to deadangle or guard break, respectively. If they're not blocking, make sure they're only hit by the AOE, unless they have, like, 100 poise. If you do it right, as long as you have RTSR (red tearstone ring) active, you should be able to 1-hit them. If they, for any reason, should be alive once your cover's blown, it should be a simple matter to finish them. Perhaps you have a fast weapon in your offhand. If nothing else, don't underestimate your DRAGON POWERS. If they have light armor, that head stone does decent damage, with guaranteed stunlock. The torso stone is great for staggering, and gives a damage increase for a short time. Perhaps your most formidable weapons are your bare dragon claws. They do relatively high damage, especially with RTSR and the roar buff, they are also really fast, especially their L1. The downside is their short reach. If you die, skip step 5. If you don't, proceed.
Fifth: Celebrate! That aural decoy makes a laughing sound that's super annoying, and/or you can do your favorite gesture, such as look skyward, well, what is it?, prostration, or proper bow.
