So I learned dual wielding the tracers together made them absolutely worthless, so instead of sucking it up and using both at once I kept the dual wielding aspect and added a parrying dagger to keep to the spirit
You can totes take out attunment slots for more vitality if you really want to as to compensate for low poise, but I personally like having access to lots of pyromancy spells. YOu can also add a Estoc, Side Sword, or whatever dex weapon you want, but I feel it takes a bit of the fun out without the knives. If you don't want to FaP, you can sub it with a Wolf Ring as it fits the cosplay perfectly, or with ninja ring.
