This build is not for speed runners but rather for someone who wants to explore. The high stats in Vit, End, Str and Dex allow for fast rolls and fast kills without relying on spells.
This build uses Resins to add the magic damage needed to take out most bosses in a few swings so those points can go into maximizing your stats for survival.
I use the Pyromancer and it's starting gear because the Tattered set has great light weight stats against all damage types while being able to keep the weight down to continue flip dodging.
The Strength is there for your damage and the Dex is second to increase speed of your swings and casts. The faster you are the better.
This build also allows you to make use of other weapons in the game like Devine and Occult (But I really wouldn't, Kill it with FIRE!)
The poison Resin is more for anyone wanting to PVP but there are likely better builds out there.
