Fire Surge is a killer with Crown of Dusk + Bellowing Dragoncrest Ring. So many have died trying to poise stab me, and my Fire Surge just kills them in five secs. The idea is to pressure with Fire Surge and mix up with Chaos Great Fireball. When my CGFB does hit in CQC, I can quickswap to Great Combustion for a killer combo. If my CGFB hit from long range instead, the running attack can combo if I start running preemptively. With 45 Dex, if I hit my opponent with Great Combustion while they are staggered (out of poise), I can walk up a little to do another Great Combustion, and keep doing that until I combo them to death. Great Combustion combos off of kick as well. Lastly, Dark Bead + Crown + BDCR + OIC @ 16 INT can, surprisingly, deal over 1000 damage pretty consistently in CQC, making it the perfect surprise shotgun sidearm. The 16 INT is absolutely worth it for Dark Bead alone. Here are some damage numbers against full Giants @ SL125:
Fire Surge: 300+ in seconds if an opponent eats it directly
Great Chaos Fireball: 750
Lava: 450
Great Combustion: 570
Fire Tempest: 1010
