Long ago, a group of knights retired and became sell swords. They hailed from an eastern land and called them selves: The Sentinels of the Pass. They would guard an entrance with their life, no matter what was in front of them, or behind. So long as the price was right, they could care less what they guarded. As the act of guarding an entrance was drilled into them years ago. Many would recognize their large round great shields and immediately turn back. There were very few who would attempt to brave the might of these fierce guardians. Only to find them selves set ablaze by their mysterious wooden clubs. If one were to survive their attacks. They would find them selves poisoned, and need to consume an antidote immediately. No wonder so many of the stories of these guardians are told by old warriors who've fallen sick, and are wrought with burn marks. No one has seen these warriors for centuries. However it is said their hollowed forms can sometimes be found guarding entrances at random...
