One of the many knights that served under Gwyn against the dragons, Ivone was one of the few survivors. Unlike some of his fellow Knights however, Ivone's fate was never confirmed, so he was presumed dead by the others. Due to this, he left Anor Londo and started residing within the Undead Parish, occasionally visiting Oswald to make up for his sins. Once he actually ended up killing a Gargoyle on an attempt to seek out Oswald, ultimately killing the beast and taking its tail as a prize, which became his new weapon. Everyday Ivone continues residing within the Parish, assisting those who pass by, but an unlucky few also end up tasting his blade in the process, due to his known sanity problems, which has caused him to kill those who trusted him in his fits of insanity, only causing the man more sins than before. This behavior has caused him to have been mistaken for a bandit in the past
