In a powerful need to end this madness, your Knight King tasks you with the management of the army and the very kingdom itself to depart on a fated journey to seek a cure for the undead plague that is boiling across his Balder lands... Quickly, despite your most earnest efforts, the land flounders and eventually falls. Your Knight King gone with no status updates couriered back, the land empty and ashen, and the curse now upon you... You depart the capitol with a yearning to learn of your King's fate. To Lordran you travel, for succor or final vengeance.
