*With the Wolf ring you can pretty much tank almost every attack in the game, with exception of ultra weapons (UGS,GH,GA) 2 handed.
*And if your opponent is using those weapons, you can poise though the FIRST attack R1 while using the Dark Wood Grain Ring:
curve sword;
straight sword;
katana (with exception of the running attack);
great scythe;
whip;
spear;
halberd.
*But if you're a TRYHARD, go for Hornet Ring and get some hatemails.
