Play through several times to get multiple dark beads and Crystal soul spears. They really wreck bosses and players. In pve, I recommend using whats shown. In pvp it's op to use the Tin Crystal Catalyst, 2 pursuers, 3 dark beads, the Ring of Steel Protection along with the BDCR of course, a fully upgraded Silver Knight Shield (rare drop from Silver Knights in Anor Londo), and wear full Giant's Armor (from Anor Londo blacksmith) fully upgraded. You'll move slower and have a fat roll, but you'll go from being a glass cannon to a regular cannon. No weaknesses really. Even lagstabbers struggle against you.
