Save the magician ( I don't know how to called that LMAO) in the Depth ( this name suck a lot). To have an access to the fire magic without starting as a Pyromancer character.

Thief will have master key to start with. Master key can open the door from New Londo Ruin to Drake Valley.

Kill Knight Lautrec after you save him at Undead Parish to get the Ring of Favor early in the game. (With a 2+ Black KNight Halberd would be so much easier or just push him down from a cliff)
