Magic supported
Faith is often known as the best magic stat because you don't need to invest a lot to get massive returns but intelligence is amazing as well. With just 16 points, we get access to amazing utility spells both useful in PvE and PVP.
Examples:
Hidden weapon makes it hard to gauge distances for your opponent and if cast out of sight, will leave them guessing which weapon you even have.
Great soul arrow is a quick damage in that also deals quite a bit of poise damage. Also, it homes in on target. Latency makes it hard to dodge.
Dark bead for obvious reasons
You can switch those spells for whatever you need in whichever area you invade in. Invading a dark place? Cast light.
Invading a place with many drop downs? Cast fall control.
Wanna be sneaky and get the drop on an invader or just want to go through an area easily? Hidden body and/or hush.
Wanna fuck around? Chameleon
About to fight a boss? Great magic shield.
The versatility and utility of intelligence spells cannot be overstated. Add to this that you can mess with both your ring slots at any time and you got an amazing amount of freedom on how to approach situations.
