Bandit's Knife has the highest crit damage.
Caestus used to parry and riposte with your big boy weapons.
Heater is the lightest 100% physical block shield and can also parry.
Fish for backstabs and parry and crit with your Bandit's Knife.
If the enemy rollspams equip Estoc or Rapier and try to rollcatch.
Use Shotel and Hand Axe to break blocking opponents.
Pine Resins for extra flavour.
Throwing Knives for laddercampers.
Lloyd's for Estus denial.
I also carry a few rings pieces of armor and consumables with me at all times to swap to if i need to.
