Use Warrior gear until recommended equip found.
Rush to Gravelord Nito in the Undead Crypt to obtain the Gravelord Sword by joining covenant (see youtube). This is one of the strongest weapons early on, and can one-shot most early enemies. Do NOT upgrade.
Two hand the Gravelord sword until you meet the required ST (24) and END (17). You should be at Soul Level 20.
Level up DEX to 18 and ATT to 10 to meet other requirements. Your Soul Level should be 27.
Obtain the Crest Shield by killing Oscar of Astora’s Hollow. Best shield for magic defence.
Obtain Black Knight Shield (best fire defence) and Black Knight Halberd (best weapon) from Black knights. Upgrade weapon to +15 using Regular materials and the Shields to +5.
Use standard Short Bow at beginning. Purchase from Undead Merchant in Undead Burg or dropped by skeletons. Do NOT upgrade.
Obtain the Black Bow of Pharis from the ghost in Darkroot Garden. Upgrade to +15 using Regular materials.
Rescue Laurentius of the Great Swamp from the Depths to obtain the Pyromancy Flame. No need to upgrade.
Pick up Power Within from underneath Parasitic Wall Hugger in Blighttown. It increases damage by 40% and stamina regen by 73% for 100 seconds, but also gradually decreases HP. Good for fighting bosses.
Get Havel’s ring by killing Havel in the shortcut between Undead Burg and Darkroot Basin. Requires Master key or Watchtower Basement Key. Ring increases equipment load by 50%.
Get the Ring of Steel Protection in Sen’s Fortress at the top of the first rolling boulder area. Ring increases defence by 50 points.
Get the Gold-Hemmed Black set in Demon’s Ruin area before the boss. Equip when worried about poison or fire. Upgrade to +5 for full protection.
Get the Black Iron Set in Anor Londo, to the left of the painting. Upgrade to +5 for full protection.
Level up VIT to 30, then alternate END to 42 and STR to 40 which should be Soul Level 83.
Level VIT to 50 ending at Soul Level 107.
The rest is up to you.
