Battle Mage build for fun. I might swap the Tin Crystalization Catalyst for the next best catalyst for more casts of Crystal Magic Weapon. I also might swap Soul Spear for either Great Heavy Soul Arrow for less damage but more casts or Dark Bead for raw damage. The rings could also be swapped. I chose Fap so I could minmax endurance for fast roll given my chosen equipment, plus the health boost is nice. Lingering Dragoncrest encourages more use of the scimitar, but Bellowing Dragoncrest might be worth it for the extra ranged damage. Of course, the dusk crown can also be used for more ranged damage at the cost of some magic defense, but I chose the witch aesthetic for fun, plus I don't really want this build to center around the ranged attacks. Large Leather Shield was also chosen mostly for aesthetic purposes, though the decent magic block could pair well with the dusk crown. Also useful for parrying.
