This build gives fairly strong defence with fast-roll and massive poise resistance for casual play. Use resin buffs and maybe Power Within for big damage and a surprisingly easy playthrough.
Replace Giant Gauntlets with lighter gloves at first to maintain fast-roll. Everything else is easy to find at the start of the game.
