Notes from author
This is a build that replicates Guts from berserk during the Golden Age Arc. The initial class is Warrior given its base statistics in Strength and Dexterity, both 13, a good starting springboard for what is a build quality. The only statistics that need to be leveled are: strength, dexterity, vitality and endurance, this is because Guts does not use magic of any kind in the golden age and resistance is useless as a statistic. If you want to replicate Guts I recommend not joining any Covenant since, in addition to the princess' guards, the others are very far from Guts' story, but if you just want to use this build as a base, choose the covenant that best suits you for the your style of play and if you want to use magic, I recommend pyromancy which does not require statistics and which scales on the upgrades of the pyromancy flame, just raise the build to 129, boosting attenuation to have 2 spell spells. As a weapon the Raw Greatsword +5 is perfect for roleplay, the greatsword is the weapon used by Guts himself in the Golden Age Arc, and the Raw upgrade indicates his barbaric swordsmanship style, the build quality was chosen to be able to do maximum damage with this weapon. Besides the greatsword, no weapon, Guts only uses that in the golden age, but going back to the topic of using this as a basis for your build, being a quality, you can use any weapon you want, I recommend the black knight halbard. The armor is a replica of Guts's in the Golden Age, Balder's Armor itself being a reference. For the rings I chose Havel, which is the main ring of the build, and then your choice between: steel protection, wolf and chloranthy. Don't use Favor and protection if you want to follow the berserk lore. That's all, I'll be back soon with the second part of the build, in NG+, trying to replicate the Guts from the Conviction Arc or the Millennium Falcon Arc with the berserk armor, if so, sorry for the bad English.
