Tired of your usual character builds? Looking for a new angle on playing? How about trying a blacksmith build? Looks are one thing, so be sure to make your character scruffy and hardened. Next go to the set-up. What's a blacksmith without his trusty hammer? Don the Hollow Warrior Armor for the leather tunic feel and the Wanderer Boots for the rough leather slacks. Bonus points with whatever arm armor which adds to the blacksmith feel. Additional points with Caestus on your left hand so that you can jab someone in their face for poking jokes on your crafts.
Carry a chuck load of Titanites and various weapons, so that you can reward someone who summons you as a gift of good will (be sure not to give too good a stuff that will break their game). Your summoner wants to trade with you? Ask for Souls in place to make the transaction real.
Of course, you're not just there to be pushed around with. Level your Blacksmith Hammer to max any way you want and swing that shit like you're tempering your enemies into a pulp.
