No estus flask. Humanity is allowed but cannot be farmed (kinda defeats the challange if you have 99 in your inventory). No master key. Must start at SL1. 5 level-ups per boss kill. I've opted to wear the FAP ring for the extra health and stamina, and to equip the Paladin set for it's good physical defense and resistances while still mid-rolling. If you're wanting to fast roll, I would suggest using something like the Dingy or Maiden set and then equiping ROSP for extra physcial defense. You can try face tanking with heavy poise armor, but you'll need some really good HP regen and have a large stash of humanity to outlast the boss. Alternate between Sanctus Shield for HP regen and Grass Crest Shield for stamina regen. The ROSFB boosts our miracle damage, but can be swapped for Havel's if you're needing better armor. You can equip Dusk Crown to boost miracle damage as well. Just be wary of the increased magic damage you'll take. The +5 Occult Bandit Knife upgrade path is fantastic for ripostes/backstabs and it increases the knife's overall damage at our faith level. +15 Baldur Side Sword puts out insanely quick damage when used with Sunlight/Darkmoon Blade. Darkmoon Talisman is a better choice than Ivory if you don't mind farming the crows in the Painted World (I just can't be bothered with how annoying they are). If you don't want to farm the Chaos Bugs for Sunlight Medals to get GLS, then the basic version will do. I just like having a powerful ranged miracle option. I'd also recommend having an upgraded Composite Bow or the Darkmoon Bow on hand in case you need a ranged option and are out of spells. You'll need to save up 4K souls at the start to get Heal from Petrus, and there is a free talisman in a chest behind the shrine to get you started. Have fun and good luck!
