This is an experimental build I'm going to try out. The point is to wear heavy armor with fast movement, and go around looking like a bamf. Artorias Armor looks amazing and hits a good poise breakpoint, so why not. You can also use a Quelaag's Furysword +5 if you want to look even more badass, but the elemental damage may not be quite as good because of split resistance.
Dark Wood Grain Ring can be anything really, but I like the invincibility frames. Havel's Ring is a must with heavy armor, so sadly you wont be able to use the Ring of Favor and Protection unless you want to increase endurance to over 70, which is definitely a no go for anyone with a brain.
Artorias armor is nice for its default poise, which hits the breakpoint (36) where 1H attacks from weapons like greatswords wont have a chance to stagger you the first hit. So because of this you don't need the Wolf Ring unless you're really paranoid that someone has an ultra weapon. You also don't want any extra DEX past 40 since it has diminishing returns after that; you're better off dumping everything else into Vitality.
Covenant doesn't really matter that much; it depends on how you want to invade. Darkmoon or Darkwraith would be my choice.
