Other notes:
Dark sorcery themed as it makes the most out of the sorcery AND strength element although any sorceries can be used.
If changing the melee aspect I'd recommend using a weapon that can be buffed by crystal magic weapon.
You don't have to use the manus catalyst or pursuers if you don't want to beat him in NG+ but I'd recommend at least using one (preferably swapping out the manus catalyst for another one and keeping pursuers).
