Notes from author
Hello, curious undead. The Shotmaster will explain his build to you...
He uses the Darkmoon Bow for raw power, but the BBoP just looks so much cooler, so he switches from time to time.
Sometimes he touches the Avelyn, or the Dragonslayer Bow.
The Great Scythe is for when the Shotmaster can't bothered to shoot. Arrows are costly, and bosses are hard. Don't judge the Shotmaster.
The Grass Crest Shield is awesome.
The Ltg. Balder Side Sword is for speed and looks.
The Shotmaster also uses a Talisman for these miracles:
Heal and Homeward are for convenience.
Great Ltg. Spear is a projectile, so it counts a shot.
TWoP is to make close-range shooting more viable.
All of the armor is for style.
As for the stats, 38 End with Havel's Ring puts the Shotmaster at 25% equip burden with all his current gear, and the Dex is for maximum casting speed and good weapon scaling.
Though the Shotmaster often uses the Fog and Hawk rings, he happily employs many others, such as the S. Dragoncrest Ring, the Cloranthy Ring, and Havel's Ring.
Finally, his ammunition:
...*Sigh*...
Listen, the Shotmaster is going to level with you. Buy standard, large, and maybe 70 poison and feather arrows. Dragonslayer arrows are an absolute luxury, and Moonlight arrows? 500 souls apiece? B***h, please. If you simply must touch bolts whatsoever, don't go over heavy.
That concludes the Shotmaster's description of the Shotmaster. If you're to emulate his build, all the Shotmaster asks is that you always aim for the head...
