Not intended for pure player-versus-player, but instead as someone that "gets stronger as the journey continues". The level is high, but even my SL can be outmatched by skilled combatants. Besides, a lot of people on the Xbox 360 version (from what I've seen), are doing this same thing. The hyper-extension to memory ranges makes PvP possible against everyone until they reach 999,999,999 soul memory, which will take eons to obtain legitly, even for 838s.
