PROS: - The Varganian Sword allows for quick, short range attacks and is very quick. With the rapier, you can get a 3 hit combo that deals a lot of damage. The R2 deals quite a bit of damage, catches people in their rolls and is delayed, meaning it can mess with people who are looking to parry. - The Dragonslayer spear has decent medium range which makes it easier to punish attacks, rolls and lets approaching easier.With the Watcher's Shield in hand, you can hide behind the shield to attack while staying defense, making attacks a little safer. You can animation cancel the R2 which has the potential to bait someone to roll. - The Watcher's shield has high physical and elemental defense and stability. The shield when hit spews out a little corrosive acid that if the enemy touches will have all their equipment's durability lowered. - The Rapier is quick, powerful and simple. You can change out the Ring of Blades for the Leo Ring so that counter damage deals much more. Not only that, but I have the option to parry, but it is not as reliable as the Watcher's Shield. - Healing, if needed. - I can buff, if needed. - Throwing knives with 40 DEX can deal up to 100-120 damage per knife. It gives you some decent range options, helps punishes rolls that are going away from you and can hit people who aren't paying attention. They force people to approach as well. - Very good physical bulk, poise and good lightning and fire defense. CONS: - Really low Sorcery and Hex defense, getting hit can devastate you. - Weak to bows. - Easily parryable - Rolling attacks deal low damage, can be parried easily and have no follow ups. - Even with Stone Ring, people with a decent amount of poise are difficult to poise break with the Rapier and the Varganian sword. - Not a lot of attack, mainly focuses on chip damage and punishes. Can't trade well.
