Incredibly average build, made for a mix of situations, focusing on magic damage. Wanted to try making stats more average than usual for far more options, albeit on the lower end of things. Great Scythe can be swapped for any other weapon usable with a 20/20 spread. Put it down as main weapon as it has a long reach and can sweep. Fights begin with GMB + Crystal Weapon, and putting up an 4-orb soul mass for protection (could be swapped for Soul Greatsword). Homing Soul Arrow and Whisper of Despair can be used in tandem together to create pressure + space with homing projectiles thanks to casting speed from ring + branch, along with Whisper potentially hitting and lowering enemy defense for a little bit. Chaos Storm is a good wake-up/surprise attack, could be replaced with many other 1 slot pyromancies like Great Combustion or Warmth for invasions/fight clubs. Great Heal is for invasions primarily, the ones that force you to back off or even just healing if a host decides to flask or something. Could be replaced with Heavenly Thunder for another AoE depending on your comfort. Magic is used to pressure and space the enemy, not for spamming. Plenty of weapon choices with the spread here, not the most powerful options in some cases though. Crossbow can be used with any bolts, primarily used to see if enemies will come running at me when I raise it to shoot, which I can cancel the shot into a weapon swing, hopefully with Soulmass backing it up for potential hits. Bellvine could be replaced with Priest's Chime for more speed, but if you want to use chime hexes, it's a possible option. Not a dedicated item, just threw it on there for a chime. Caestus is for potential parries. It's lightweight, more subtle compared to a shield, and gives you an offhand for a quick smack. Armor choice is whatever, but wanted something to stay under 50% but have some decent defenses. Ain't no Havels, but it's nice looking, in my opinion. Feel free to shit on the build if you want :)
